I am just a normal guy.  I am a follower of Jesus.  I am a husband to my wife of almost 20 years Lisa.  I am a dad to my college freshman Dan, my high school junior Steve and my 9th grader Sammi.  I am the Director of Administration at my favorite church.  I love missions and in particular serving in Kenya. 

For most of my adult life, I was employed at IBM in a variety of jobs.  I started out my career in hardware engineering, moved into and out of management a few times, software engineering and development and marketing communications.  During the marketing phase of my career, I was traveling about 80% of the time and came to the realization that it wasn’t good for me to be gone so much.  So after 22 years with Big Blue, I called it quits with nothing but faith that I could provide for my family.  My leaving my career also coincided with a downturn in employment in the Research Triangle Park and thus spent many months praying and arguing with God.  He showed up in a big way when out of the blue I was offered a 2nd career working for Him in His local church.  I am loving it. 

God is doing some amazing things with me right now and has me dreaming big for Him.  It is my prayer that I can document this ride He has me on.
