Summer In The Son Wrap
Sammi and I got back from Grayson last night. It was quite an eventful 5 days or so.
We started setting up on Thursday night when we arrived and worked late into the night. On Friday Don and a couple of the guys had to drive up to Indiana to pick up some more equipment so I stayed behind with Sammi, Eli and Austin to continue the setup of the auditorium. We started at 10 that morning and finished up at 9 that night. We hung lights and the 3 projectors and got some basic aiming done. Don, Stephen and Spencer got back to Grayson at 11 or so and we unpacked the rest of the stuff and called it a day.
Saturday was spent finishing up the room so it would be ready for the David Crowder Band concert on Sunday night. The team finally got to practice during the rehearsal on Sunday afternoon but did a fantastic job producing the show.
After the show we got to hang around with David Crowder and his band for a while and Sammi finally relented to getting her picture taken.
We spent Monday and half of Tuesday going to the sessions and hanging out with the tech team prior to hitting the road at noon. Sammi enjoyed hanging out with Jared Hall and trying to figure out his illusions. We missed his full show though since it is tonight.
And we are still digesting our Smokey Valley burgers from Sunday night.
